Mighty FAQ

What is Camp Mighty?
Camp Mighty is a weekend retreat for people who like projects, and are willing to put a little of that energy into themselves. All of us want to be great at something. Camp Mighty will help you figure out what.

Who should come to Camp Mighty?
People who like to set and meet goals, and want to hang out with others who do the same.

Is this a co-ed event?
Yep. Attendees aren’t required to share rooms, so it’s an all-skate. Everybody on the floor.

How is Camp Mighty different from Mighty Summit?
The point of the events is the same, to make better lives for the people who attend. Camp is designed to fulfill the possibilities that the Summit kicked off, and to do it for a wider audience. To maintain the affinity that a smaller group offers, we’ll give each attendee a team so they can complete charity work and review Life Lists together.

How do I write a Life List?
Some people freeze in front of a blank page. Here are 10 simple tips to get you started or help the process along.

How does the charity component work?
Each 30-35 member Camp Mighty team will raise funds for Charity Water, a non-profit organization that brings clean drinking water to people in developing nations. We’ll finish fundraising before Camp begins. There are two ways to give:

1. Individual campers can choose to add $200 to their registration fee, and all $200 will go straight to Charity Water. Or…

2. We’ll connect attendees with their teams before Camp Mighty begins, and those who choose to do fundraising will work with their group to pool resources. The entire team will be responsible for each team member’s $200 goal.

About every 19 seconds, a family loses a child to a water-bourne illness. Here’s more about Charity Water’s mission.

When should I fly in and out?
The event begins on Thursday (11/10/11) at 6 p.m. and ends late Saturday night (11/12/11). The most important event is right at the end, so you won’t want to miss that. In other words, your flight should arrive before 5 p.m. on Thursday (11/10/11) and you should fly out sometime on Sunday (11/13/11).

Which airport should I fly into?
You have two options. You can fly into Palm Springs International Airport (PSP), or Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). Los Angeles is approximately 107 miles away from Palm Springs.

Will I be assigned a roommate?
